THE HAPPIEST UGLY CRY EVER

This post will be mostly capitals and exclamation points, sorry. (NOT SORRY!)

Because.... what is this?
THE PRINCIPAL GIVING ALEX AN AWARD AT SCHOOL YESTERDAY!!!!!!!

AlexAward

Last Thursday at pick up, Alex got in the car and said he had a big surprise. As soon as we got inside, he dug into his backpack and pulled out an invitation to the Terrific Kid award ceremony. He won the class award for Integrity... doing the right thing, even when no one is looking.

I immediately burst into happy tears. We called Jon and I could hear him practically shouting with glee over the phone.

This kid? This kid has worked so hard. I AM HAPPY UGLY CRYING AGAIN!

What might seem like a teeny tiny award to others is so incredibly SUPER HUGE to our family right now. It's a sign we're getting Alex the right help, so he can be the successful awesome kid we know him to be.

SO SO SO SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
