How many different ways can I say it? The last 12 years with Jon have been the best of my life.


From Chicago to Hawaii to Austria to Raleigh, from living in separate apartments to sharing a run down coachhouse to living in our dream house, from 80 hour work weeks to unemployment to stable jobs, from sleeping in until noon and staying up all night with sick babies, we've always been best friends.




I love him so much I never thought twice about creating a family together.




I've never regretted that decision for one millisecond.





I often think about moving this blog off blogger to somewhere else, but the thing that stops me is the name. I'm the photographer and documenter of our life together, but fundamentally this blog is about Jon and Laura. It is nothing without Jon. Every day with him in my life is better.

Happy 37th sweetie. I hope we get at least 37 more together.
