A new and exciting phase!!!

When the boys were newborns and toddlers, it was all - check out this new phase! Look at this new phase! They're doing this awesome new thing in this new phase! Now it's all - guess what, they're still in kindergarten.

So I am happy to report the boys are in a new phase!!! It is amazing! They can not keep their hands off each other!!

Crazy01

You will be so impressed by all the different ways in which they can not keep their hands (and feet) off each other!

Crazy02

They are so incredibly creative, using literally every part of their bodies to bother each other. *Sigh* These milestones are amazing to watch.

Crazy03

Sometimes when they are not pestering each other, they also do awesome things like pretend to threaten to punch each other. I honestly can not believe how versatile they can be with this skill. They are GENIUSES at bothering each other! My babies, GENIUSES!!

Crazy04

I can't really do this post justice without showing you their most impressive skill - tackling each other. I want to die from the sweetness of this!

Crazy05

I swear the most amazing part of motherhood is watching these skills unfold before your eyes.

Crazy06

This shot makes me so sad. They were cooperating and didn't touch each other??? I guess it's the same as most skills - two steps forward, one step back.

Crazy07

So never fear parents, as your children age, you will never lose that sense of wonder as your children display new and improved skills.

(200+ shots of them while lens testing and this is the only semi-normal one of them together.)

LOL I can't imagine... As I was reading this post I just yelled at Sophia to get her hands off her brother about four times! She lives to harrass him.

Yes, exciting, that's the word for it.

Oh wait, no it's not. I swear, kids plot to simply drive their parents insane. My brother, sister and I were masters. We even went through a phase where we threatened to fart on each others pillows. Trust me, this is only the beginning for your boys.

Now that I think about it, my boys have already started *laughing* when the other one takes a tumble, or slips. LAUGHING! How do they learn this stuff? Certainly not from me. I cry at Charlie Brown cartoons and sports competitions because I always feel bad for the underdog. It just seems like it came naturally to my boys, somehow. Someone falls flat? Hysterical! Hilarious! And then Dean has decided it's fun to sit on Cary until he cries. This is at 20-months!! Ugh. Now I've gone from cracking up at your post to feeling blue about my certain future. Thanks, Laura!

Ah, but they are all normal shots-just maybe not the normal you'd like! At least now you know that all phases do end-and this one probably will just in time for the warm weather!

Cute post! I am constantly yelling "do not smack her" and normally the response is "I didn't smack her I punched her!" SMH

You are such a goof =) I like that you captured some of these every day (every hour... every minute) moments. And I love the last pic, like they're pretending to be angelic.

That was a hilarious post. Loved it.

I'm sorry to say that it probably WON'T end any time soon. They'll most like be 19 and STILL tackling, punching and aggravating the ever lovin' crap out of each other!!

I completely relate. My favorite phrase is "No one will love you as much as your twin and no one will bug you as much as your twin. If you don't want her to bug you, then move away from her." When they cannot work out the issue themselves, I separate them into different rooms. It is the worst punishment ever for them.
