Giving thanks

This was us, four years ago around Thanksgiving:

Each year I struggle with what to write at Thanksgiving. I have no idea where to start on all the things for which I am thankful. Each year I could write the same post as the year before because every year feels as sweet as it did in the photo above. I look at old posts and wonder how I will top the sentiments there.

(Crap, I should probably just recycle the posts!!! You guys would never know!!! Too late.)

2011 has been an AMAZEBALLS year. Good health. Stable jobs. Forever home. Great kids. Chasing dreams. Happy happy home. The only teeny tiny sad part is the boys are growing up way too fast. (photo by Natalie Jill Photography)

Family

Again this year we are so blessed.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.

OMG - the boys were so teeny tiny then. I can't believe it. They are growing up so fast these days. The changes that school has brought on are amazing yet bittersweet.

Love love this. I feel the same way every year, so thankful for everything, feel like a broken record. Love how your year has come together. Dying from the teeny cuteness of the boys 4 years ago...

Remembering N and A at that sweet (and active) size is smile inducing.

I always have loved that photo of your family. And now when I see it, I smile even more because they're about the same size my two are now! It's funny because yours look so small in that photo and I always think C & D are such big boys! Just goes to show me that they are still teeny things -- and I thank you for reminding me to cherish every day that they still are!
Happy Turkey Day!
