My rants and raves about motherhood, my five year old fraternal twin boys Nate and Alex, my fantastic husband Jon, and some pictures to go with it all.

And then there's this
I never want to make it sound like an age is ALL bad. It is never all bad. These letters came home from school yesterday:
Top from Alex: "Dear Mom, I miss you. Me and dad have pizza for dinner."
Bottom from Nate, when asked by his teacher to write what would make his life better: "I wouldn't be bad anymore."
This is my favorite favorite thing right now about 5.5. Seriously the cuteness of phonetic spelling and new handwriting. Almost makes up for all the rotten.

Great job, N&A! Love love love that our babies are learning to read and write!

So stinking cute.
Adorable. And perfect timing, huh?
Those are the best! Definitely worth keeping and taking out when you need the reminder of the cute and the good and the awesomeness.
I also love how Nate thinks "being bad" is something that just happens to you, like "I wouldn't be sick anymore." LOL!
Cuteness really seems to be what preserves our offspring and has led to the survival of the species!
Just when you think you can't take any more craziness is when they do something so sweet.
