Win-win situation
Mom got a new office desk....
And the boys each got their own playhouse.
The boys worked on their houses the entire night while I cooked dinner, cleaned up from dinner, picked up the house, and assembled the desk. WIN.
Spectacular! Nice to see that, despite all the dire warnings and hand-wringing about "kids these days" and their inability to play anything other than video games, clearly old-fashioned imagination and creativity are never going away. Hooray for giant boxes!
Love it. I am not sure why we buy toys. I stacked paper cups yesterday and had the boys throw a ball at them. They built their own structures and knocked them down for about an hour. You can't beat that.
BTW I just picked up the "4 year old" books that you recommended long ago and it really is shedding some light on 4 1/2. Thanks again these books have been great!
Ah, the cardboard box! Even a shoe box will get Lana to drop whatever it is she is doing and go CREATE something with the shoebox. Sometimes its artistic, sometimes its totally an engineering project.

That is awesome! Can't wait to see the new desk :)
How perfect that it came in two big boxes!
Big boxes are one of the most awesome things in the entire world. Followed, of course, by adorable little boys playing with them.
Boxes = best toys ever!! Lucky for you it came with 2 :-)
