In the new house, I knew I wanted to do BIG photos. I used to think an 8x10 was a BIG photo until I read this amazing post a couple of years ago about why bigger is better (with photos on walls).
When you walk up the stairs to our second floor, immediately to the right is my office. There is a huge wall I thought would be perfect for a photo grouping. And I went BIG. Six 16x20 canvases.
I can not tell you how happy this wall makes me every time I see it.

It's awesome. Your pictures are beautiful. We are at the over 7 months mark and I am itching to finish up some rooms also. We have bedrooms and one bathroom to tackle. Mostly just with some paint but I am anxious to have the house be officially "ours".
Genius, for sure. As I said yesterday, I'm going to start collecting big prints and canvasses of my favorite shots. I'll figure out where to put them, later. But that wall is so amazing.
I love this! And we are on year 3 in our house. It isn't done.
Decorating is so not my thing.

Those pictures are beautiful and look amazing! I got a gallery photo frame set for a wedding present, and while they are matted huge, the picture sizes are still only 4x6 with an 8x10 thrown in there. I love the look, but wish the pictures themselves were bigger. Maybe I'll get new mats for them and put in larger pictures.
Look at that expression of shear joy on your face. You own that wall as it's because of your talent it exists. Glad you put yourself in the shot.

I love it - I am all about big. We have a 24x36 canvas of a family photo in our living room, and I love it. However, it was taken before we had Will, so it's about time to get another one done.

I think you should put that picture of you in front of all those pictures on a canvas and then put THAT up on the wall with the rest of 'em.
