A very proud moment

Nate: No Alex, it's not "Beaver Fever" it's "Bieber Fever." BIE--BBBBBER. Because his name is Justin Bieber.

(I didn't have it in me to explain that "Beaver Fever" is part of a Caltech sports chant, something I've shared quite a bit recently due to the men's basketball team epic win.)

We saw "Never Say Never" last weekend, so we all have Bieber Fever. It's really, really interesting from a social marketing perspective. The music was fun too. I almost had a heart attack when Boyz to Men came out as Justin's back-up band. AHHHHHHHH.........

At least he didn't ask, "Who is Justice Beaver?"

This is so wonderfully wrong on so many levels that it's going to make me smile all day.

To join in the fun, I thought I'd re-post my current Facebook status:

On the phone with my Mom, and my 4-yr-old niece is in the background begging for my Mom to find something on the cell phone's YouTube function. Mom: "Hold on ...what, sweetie? Dusty Beaver? I don't know anything about Dusty Beaver." Me: "Mom, I think she means Justin Bieber." Mom: "Oh!"

Love it!

One day Jason borrowed a friend's son's ipod and listened to that "Baby, Baby" song a few times. Without being aware of it he sang it aloud several times and it permeated the minds of Cole and Will. They are always singing it.

The other day I asked Jason if he heard Justin Bieber got a haircut and I started to look for a picture of it. Will ran over and said, "I want to see Baby, Baby Ooh's haircut!"
