I've also learned as soon as you blog about something, it changes. Two weeks ago I wrote about us reaching a low point at 4.5. This weekend was the exact opposite - it was a high point.
We had a weekend where all four of us got to do exactly what we wanted to do.
It took 4.5 years with twins to get there but we did it. No refereeing fights. The boys played together well and independently. We are caught up from the insanity of moving right before Thanksgiving and Christmas. Lots of time for me and Jon to recharge (HUGE!).
And.... I seem to have figured out how to get BOTH BOYS to cooperate with my crazy photo schemes. The day after I finalized our Christmas card layout and sent in my order, I snapped this photo of the boys:

Thanks universe, I really needed this weekend in a big way.

I love that photo! And *gulp* I really need to get my cards ordered - thanks for the reminder!
Oh my god! I love that picture!!
SOOO glad that you had the weekend you needed, Laura! It can be such a chance to regroup! We all need more of that during the busy holidays! WONDERFUL picture!
Really, really, really cute. LOVE!
AWESOME picture!!!
hahaha, LOVE the picture, and I bet some worry-freaks will be calling child service on you :P
we do not even COMMENT good sleep here. In evenings they don't wake up for 3 hours or more, we say things like "it's a nice evening, huh?"
The biggest lesson is don't ever blog about good sleep or no illness.
Word. Sometimes I don't even think about good sleep for fear it will go away!
So glad you got a recharging weekend. I've realized lately how important those are for everyone involved!
So cute - love it!
Love the photo! Great idea with the lights!!
Glad you had a recharging weekend. We did too and boy, did we need it!
All stars in your universe have aligned just as many predicted. It feels so good doesn't it. My wish for you, may it continue evermore! xoxo
JUST LOVE (caps noted hopefully) THIS PICTURE. AWESOME!
Love the picture. May have to copy the idea with the lights. I can see how it helped in capturing such a great moment and great expressions. Glad to hear you had the kind of weekend you needed.
