The movers arrived at the old house at 9AM Thursday morning.
By 9PM Friday evening, every single box had been unpacked and everything was put away.
By Saturday afternoon, freecyclers had picked up all the boxes and packing paper.
IS YOUR MIND BLOWN?!?!
My mom Grandma Jen came in over the weekend so that Jon and I could finish everything while she watched the boys. This tells you how much fun the boys had since Nate NEVER poses for pictures for/with me:

In addition to organizing the unpacked stuff, grandma hung out with the boys so we could go look at furniture and TALK to each other while shopping. This is huge! She also watched them Saturday night so we could celebrate our anniversary (bar food dinner and Jackass 3-D, which I highly recommend).
I took today off to finish up things like grocery shopping, laundry, and finishing touches. So far, we are all in "pinch me I'm dreaming!" mode as we are so excited to be in our new space.
Thanks Grandma Jen for the help and visit! The boys had a blast and I KNOW we would have felt a lot more crazy trying to finish up with the boys underfoot.

You are amazing!!
I managed to weed around my brassicas without Nina pulling up all of the carrots while I was distracted . . . but just barely.
DAMN.
Apparently it's the "S"... because M is an INTJ, and definitely missed the boat on that part. :-)
My mind is totally blown! I don't know what my Myers-Briggs type is, but it is definitely not the rock star kind that gets that kind of miracle done! You are awesome!
I too am an INTJ but there is no way I would have been completely unpacked in less than 48 hours. Kudos to you...my mind is blown.
ENFJ here - but we "move" the exact same way! :) nicely done!!
So I just took one of the tests, and I am ENFJ, so almost the exact opposite. No wonder I have so many unpacked boxes still in my basement from our move over a year ago!
We've lived here three years, and there are still boxes we haven't unpacked. It's possible we just have too much stuff. =b
I am an INTJ as well but yes, my mind is blown. I am impressed. I unpacked in 4 days BUT in my defense, Grandma didn't watch the kids and we moved completely by ourselves. Still, kudos to you and what a wonderful feeling to be in your new house and to have been able to celebrate your anniversary too. Amazing! I know what you mean about the pinch me I'm dreaming. Every once in awhile, I still feel that way and we been in the new house for 6 months.
So - when I told you 2 years ago that my baby was sleeping through the night at 8 wks, you basically told me to shove it and to stop bragging. :)
I feel that this post falls into the same category. 'Cause it is so. freaking. awesome. Seriously - just so everyone knows, I have known Laura for 20 yrs now, so I can give her a hard time.
Congrats dude. Can't wait to see pics.
Oh - and your mom looks awesome by the way.
Awesome! I'm glad that the move went well and that you even worked in a date night. I do have to say that I don't think it's so much the INTJ thing as it is a Laura thing. You just have drive, and that's what gets things done.
And dude, why does your mom look like she should be Bridget's mom?
It's ISTJ!
The N is totally not like that :)
You are amazing - I thought I was a good mover, but even I am not unpacked so quickly.
This is why I dread moving so much. I'm making myself be happy in this house so we don't have to move LOL
Your mom is YOUNG! and beautiful pics - those boys get more handsome by the day!
P.S. I'm ESTJ so also super organised but that E makes me a lot more bossy so I rope in MIL and anyone who will help to do my bidding :)
OMG!! Amazing!!
You seriously rock. And you and your mom look so much alike-- great pictures!
I'm an INFJ which explains why I spend a lot of time looking for the subtext in the boxes.
That is hella awesome. I am stunned and speechless. It's taking me a whole month to organize our winter/summer clothing transition. I am an ESFJ. The J makes me want everything in order too, but the SF makes me take forever to dwell on all the possibilities and how many different ways it could come about (or that's my excuse today). Though when I was younger, I was ESTJ. I'm a softy now!
I'm soooo similar! When I moved into my current house we spent one day painting, and one day moving and unpacking. I've never understood people who spent months unpacking. I went in with a plan and had assignments for everyone helping me and Post it notes in cupboards to indicate what should go there. Get er done!
