Only an amazing writer could do full justice to the story. Not being an amazing writer, it's easier for me to draw a picture of what happened than to explain it to you.
I totally earned a free pass on Mother's Day this year.
My rants and raves about motherhood, my five year old fraternal twin boys Nate and Alex, my fantastic husband Jon, and some pictures to go with it all.

GAH!
Oh, the indignities of parenthood.
oh. my. god. Poor guy! Poor Laura! Yuck! How is he feeling today? Any better at all? What a week you had!
I know this is not at all funny...but that picture is cracking me up.
My goodness what a picture...I have to agree with Joanna, while the situation is not funny that picture made me crack up.
LOL! I have been quite lucky too all my life except pregnancy. I learned the meaning of explosive in the post-partum week. And it was good.
Oh, boy! You definitely deserve the beach vacation after that!
We had that in the winter when both girls had a recurring stomach bug. I can't even count how many times I changed and washed sheets and blankets that month.
Hang in there. Hope he's feeling better soon.
the most excellent drawing, ever.
That picture is the greatest, even if the situation wasn't :-)
Not fun for either of you.
I hope it gets better!!
I am so sorry for both you and Nate, but that picture is hilarious - I'm having a hard time not laughing out loud, and I don't want to explain it to my co-workers.
Hope he's feeling better!!!
Oh yuck. Double yuck. Poor little dude, I hope he is better soon and the rest of you avoid the crud.
Your pic is both hilarious, sad (poor Nate) and disgusting.
