Show me some blog comment love if you like that picture!!!

That is one of my all-time favorite photos of my kids. I'm freaking PROUD I captured it.

Okay maybe backlit photos are not your thing, how about front lit?

All my boys

I've got some awesome Mondo planned for August. This year has been RIDICULOUS.

If only you could be both in front of and behind the camera. You've got some good-looking men in your family, but I love how you capture who they are, not just what they look like, in your photos

Love the pictures, both of them! Glad it's been such a phenomenal summer for you and your guys.

Wow, wow and wow. And here I thought that the kissing photo was the money shot. Little did I know you were holding out on us on what is surely one of the best pictures of your boys together EVER!

How is that for blog comment love?

Yea for smiley happy boys! Of course I love it - how could I not? I think I do like the sharpness of front-lit, but they are both incredible.

Both pictures are great. Just because I'm annoyingly detailed, I have to say that I like Nate better with back lighting and Alex better with front lighting. I think it's more the color of the light than the position however. Alex is more warm toned and therefore the golden hue enhances his natural color and Nate is more cool toned and therefore the golden hue counters his natural coloring.

This is of course, nit-picking as both pictures rock.

Those pictures are buttery and beautiful, not to mention inspiring. You SHOULD be proud of that accomplishment!

You have talent, that is for sure! And handsome subjects!

Gorgeous! I love the backlit one. I really want to work on backlighting and sunflares - maybe after the summer is over and I can stand being outside in the evenings. Your photography skills have come so far this year - you're inspiring me to get to work!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Both of the photos. I love the backlit boys, but I LOVE the one of Jon playing with them. What a great moment to capture!

p.s. my blog isn't playing nice in the comments, but I did get the long one you left before you said it ate it. =)

I don't just like this picture, I LOVE it! You should be proud. My girls are 2, 2 and 6. I have yet to get a picture of all 3 that I am satisfied with. Maybe when the little ones are 4 and their sis is 8? I have some great "escape" shots though. They may not be perfect but they make me laugh.

Love these pictures! I am learning more and more to get candid shots and realizing that posed shots are very difficult with a 1 year old and a 4 year old.

Nate and Alex look so happy with each other, which is precious!

I know nothing about photography, but your pictures look prettier and prettier to me! I love the dad+boys setup, looks like real-estate advertising!

Backlight!!! Nice work. You need to figure out how to get yourself in front of the picture too. You need to add Photoshop workshop to your list of July accomplishments. ha.

Great job on the back lit picture. You should feel proud. Way more difficult to take. Both pictures are fabulous!

I'm a fraternal twin, too. (I have a twin brother.) That is an adorable picture!

Love both pictures, but the second one is so good it looks like one of those stock photos you find when you buy a picture frame. "Look at this ridiculously gorgeous family romping in the outdoors." :)
