Great news: Irene had her twin boys on Saturday! Gabriel and Oliver were 6lbs 1oz and 6lbs 4oz, born 9 minutes apart. They are all at home and adjusting to life with three boys and a dog.
More great news: Jon's mom Roxane gets here tonight to stay for a week. She is watching the boys so Jon and I can go to NY by ourselves for a 3 day weekend! (!!)
Crazy news: Nate is going off the diving boards with no floaties and swimming to the side on his own. Since the water is 9.5 feet deep, one of us stays in with him. Video evidence:
Bad news: my very good college friend Mike V's wife's breast cancer has come back. Suckity suck. I'm kinda pissed at the universe because I opened myself up and shared my Mondo list and it clearly said no cancer.

WOW! First of all YEAH for Irene! Big, big boys! That is awesome! Second, the video is amazing! He just kinda SPRINTS off the board. What swimmers you have. And third, I'm so sorry to hear about returning cancer. It is so hard to get news like this. Hugs to you and your friend.
I'm so glad to hear that Irene and the boys are home and well, although I'm sorry that no one is ever going to the toilet seat down in her house.
What a little fishy. So cute.
As for the universe, it sucks.
Oh my gosh, NATE! That is incredible!
Congratulations to Irene and the whole family. WOW! (You know I'm a little jealous. I just can't help it.)
Ugh. Cancer. Hate cancer.
Your Nate, however, is a superstar ... not that we didn't already know that!
Wow--go Nate! Oh how I wish we could get to the pool more often so that William could be as comfortable in the water as your boys. Anyway, congrats to Irene! And so sorry to hear about your friend's wife. I hope it's treatable and that she can fight it once again and return to remission. I guess there's only so much mondo that you really can control. Hugs!
Great, great, crazy! That is crazy awesome that Nate is doing so well. And I am so sorry to hear about your friend's wife. Cancer sucks the big one.
Look at him do the diving board dash! That's awesome!
Wow - I am so impressed!
Congrats to Irene! Yay, great news!
Wow, Nate is amazing! I wish I could convince Lana to even try swim lessons or wear arm bands or a life vest and let go of us once in a while, but no deal.
As for your friend's wife, that totally sucks. I wish her all the best in her treatment and I hope she can beat it once again. I hate cancer.
So sorry to hear about the cancer coming back. We are still dealing with the melanoma that my mother in law had/has.... it's not easy. Last update on that is that her insurance company refused to pay for a PET scan for her regular 3 month check up, so instead they did a CT scan. Little did anyone know that the contrast dye would cause her to go into anaphylactic shock... scary times, but at least her scans are clean so far.
Yay on the 3 day weekend in NYC!
