Our local library has a 7PM family story time and I have been wanting to go forever but my boys have an early bedtime. Now that the boys are not tired until 8:30-9 because of the day care napping, we thought this would be a perfect time to check it out.
The theme was dinosaurs. All of the books and activities were about dinosaurs. It was like this story time was meant for Nate and Alex.
In addition to the dinosaur books the librarian read, she had another 10 dinosaur books on display available for check out. One of those books was Dinosaur Train.
You're welcome.

You mean they will start to stay up almost as late as I do? Not sure I want to look forward to that! We are running into some early bedtime challenges. Cameron's swim class was cancelled a few times and the make up lessons are 6 PM. Um, don't they understand that Cameron is in bed by 7? But Sunday church goers need to be accommodated more than infants, apparently....
I think I have the only boys on the planet who are NOT interested in dinosaurs. I thought I might have a chance with Seth, but guess what he's into these days? Bulldozers! sigh
Awesome. There used to be a dinosaur book at the library in MA that Cooper wanted to check out EVERY TIME we were at the library. It was a similar theme- dinosaurs and trains. This one would be perfect for a birthday gift for him!
LOVE IT! I so hope they add a weekly Yo Gabba Gabba one in Holly Springs!
Are the words in the book repetitive, like We're going on a Bear Hunt and The Very grouchy Lady Bug? It looks like a good book for Michael, but I can't tolerate another repetitive book at the moment.
Our library has a late library time, too, but ohhh I do not look forward to giving up early bed times! Glad they enjoyed it!
