The problem with this configuration? From my own mouth I hear my mother's voice saying, "BACK UP. YOU ARE TOO CLOSE TO THE TV."
I can't wait to tell them they are going to ruin their eyesight standing so close to the tv.
My rants and raves about motherhood, my five year old fraternal twin boys Nate and Alex, my fantastic husband Jon, and some pictures to go with it all.

You know, I'm not sure that standing too close actually does any harm to their eyes. They do, however, end up blocking the view for everyone else. I'm going to channel my grandmother on this one with, "You may be a pain, but I can't see through you."
I like Joanna's quote. We've always just told Ace that he makes a better door than a window.
So now we have matching couches AND love seats? =)
LOL at Joanna's grandmother's quote!
Hee :)
We tell the boys the same thing all the time! Isn't it funny how decor goes from "pottery barn" to what is functional?
Joanna's quote it priceless!
OMG - I said that exact line like 15 times when we were at my Mom's this weekend! Another recent "oh my god I'm my mother moment" for me was a few nights ago. I was trying last years bathing suits on the girls and Chloe's looked a little to tight in crotch because she's so tall. Without hesitation I reached up, grabbed the material in her crotch and said something about it maybe being too tight. Now I'm pretty darn tall and always have been and I have NIGHTMARES about my Mom always trying to grab the crotch of anything I tried on growing up to see if there was enough room! LOL!!! SO funny how we become our Moms without even realizing it!
