Sunday we decided to stay at home and spend time in our backyard. The boys clearly had a case of spring fever as well because they played outside for nearly three hours with minimal supervision and minimal fighting. It was a little slice of heaven for everyone.
They played sports. (Yes, Nate is left-handed.)

They played in the trees and leaves (Alex said he didn't like short-sleeved shirts so we compromised letting him wear a shirt over his short-sleeved shirt. Toddlers.).

They played games. (I taught them to throw frisbees off the deck.)

And overall, they were gloriously happy to be outside, as were we.

Awesome!
I should have read your post before I posted. So similar. This weather is amazing!!! Loved the pictures, looks like so much fun. I can't wait until we can play outside with minimal supervision. Sitting on a louge chair soaking up this weather sounds like heaven! We played outside this weekend but with four eye supervision. We always find and are into things we shouldn't be into.
Yay. I'm glad you all got a much needed sun break. One of the perks of living in hell (aka Las Vegas) are our winters are super short and barely cold.
Jealous. Very jealous. I don't think it got above 70 more than 3 times last "summer". Hopefully this summer will be different. When it is over 15 degrees outside, it's a hayday. We break out the short sleeves at 30.
Three hours?!? That's awesome. It looks like Nate and Alex have a lot of fun stuff to play with. The boys got golf clubs for their birthday (plastic play-kind), they look similar to the bat that Nate is holding. Just curious, but has it ever been used as a brother-hitting object?
