Right before Christmas, our video camera died. It was going to be more expensive to fix it than to get a new one, so we bought a new one. (Don't worry, we will freecycle the broken one.) The new one has a swivel screen so you can video yourself and see what is on the screen. I tested it while Jon was out of town last week and Alex LOVED being able to see himself on the screen.
I think he could have done this all night.

Too cute. Our video camera does that too, and we can no longer record Michael without him doing just that.
Does your video camera have an output that plugs into the TV? If so, hook it up and put it on a live feed. Then, once the boys figure it out, turn the camera over so their pictures are upside down on the TV.
Too cute! I have to start using my video camera more. It's just so annoying that it doesn't get along with my computer! Maybe it will like M's better...
Adorable!
Funnily enough, I was just about to do a post on Freecycle. The more people who know about it, the better.
So cute! But like Joanna, we are not allowed to video them unless they are watching themselves at the same time. I have to trust them to center themselves in the shot.
They do a surprisingly good job :)
I LOVED when he said "Brother" re: identifying Nate.
If Alex is not a true poster child for getting a camera with a swivel screen, I don't know who is?
they are soooo cute. I love how he refers to Nate as "brother" that's classic. I love when you post videos. They are so comical to watch.
