What I have always love about you is that you are so real. You wear your faults on the outside. Sure you had that crazy period where you were married to Billy Bob and wore blood in a vial around your neck and cut yourself, but who hasn't had those times? You never tried to hide your crazy.
I really started to love you when you left Billy Bob because you wanted to put Maddox first. Then you started in on all the volunteer work and donating money and helping refugees and adopting poor children. You are awesome! That is what I would love to do if I had millions of dollars!
Then we were pregnant together and it made me cranky with you. I'm sorry. But now you can understand why I was so emotional. Here you were, gallavanting about the globe, playing with your children in Namibia (!!!) while I was stuck on my couch. It was a tough time.
But now you get it. You've been on bed rest pregnant. You have preemies. You have twins. I anxiously awaited those first pictures to see if your realness would continue because having newborn preemie twins is something I know about.
After seeing your photo shoot in People, I will forever be on Team Angelina. Your hair is not perfect. Brad's hair is not perfect. You admit to getting no sleep. You admit it is tough. You admit you taught your kids about the impending twins by watching tv together. Your kids are not uber-coordinated in insanely expensive clothes.
But what really did it for me was seeing that the focus of each picture was your FAMILY. J Lo's pictorial was about her. In every picture, she is flawless and photoshopped. In your pictorial, the kids are looking in the wrong direction, refusing to wear shirts, laying on top of each other, and generally acting like kids. And you're smiling through all the craziness. I feel the realness in every photo.
I'm so glad you are a twin mom. You are the only twin mom so far I can imagine doing the twin-swing thing and it being as cute as Nate and Alex. You deserve twins, and I mean only the positive implications of that statement.

I too loved the People article. Especially where they talked about how they were freaking out on the table after the first sonogram. Made me think of you and Jon!!

Too funny!! I think it's crazy how there's been this explosion of celebs having twins lately. But it is nice to see that they have their problems like everyone else and life isn't perfect.
That is too funny. I thought the same exact thing....J Lo was all done up full hair and makeup. Pulease. Anyone with twins knows the first 4 months do not involve hair or makeup, sometimes not even a teeth brushing!!!
I too loved that her hair was messy, no makeup, the kids were all haphazardly dressed, and the blue mokawk rawked!!!!
I've tried to make myself hate them...but I can't LOL. They seem like really good (albeit really fortunate) people, and for the most part down to earth. Even with nannies there's no way it's easy to raise 6 kids. Off to buy a copy of People now...they should pay you for the ad space ha ha.
