Lil' Jon and Lil' Laura

I have been meaning to scan this since we got back from Fargo... Jon's mom Roxane gave me a baby picture of Jon. Not only does Alex look exactly like Jon, Alex even inherited that serious looking face.

And here's a baby picture of me.

I may have to go back and do some more reading because even with my very expensive science degree, I have no idea how one of our kids could look EXACTLY like Jon and one of our kids could look EXACTLY like me. Aren't there supposed to be genes from BOTH of us?
